Cambio: Does Phoebe Tonkin Enjoy Playing the Bad Girl?

The CW’s new show “The Secret Circle” premieres TONIGHT at 9pm EST and trust us when we say to go ahead and set your DVR’s for the whole season. The show is based on the books by LJ Smith and…

The show is based on the books by LJ Smith and is from Kevin Williamson, the people behind “The Vampire Diaries.” “Secret Circle” follows 16-year-old Cassie, who moves from California to live with her mom in New Salem and falls in love with a mysterious boy named Adam. But, when she enrolls in high school there, she realizes that he, she and all the other elite students at the school are witches! She befriends their leader, Diana, but soon discovers that Adam and Diana are dating, which leads to a whole bunch of complicated drama.

Thomas Dekker and Phoebe Tonkin, who play Adam and Faye, recently dropped by our studio to chat all about this exciting new show. Faye is the “bad girl” on the show and Phoebe is used to playing more “good girl” roles.

“I guess, because she’s so unpredictable. Even when I get the scripts, I never know what I’m going to read. It’s exciting to play someone who kind of goes back and forth between different personalities,” Phoebe told us.

And Thomas’ character is stuck in a bit of a love triangle. If he was really Adam, would he choose Cassie or Diana? “Can I have both?” Thomas joked.
