It’s easy to fall in love with Phoebe Tonkin. She is the kind of girl that your little sister is in love with, your boyfriend is secretly in love with and if you’re honest with yourself in terms of girl crushes, you are too. “It was probably to my dog, Kari, who was my first childhood love. She was a golden retriever and the most beautiful dog in the world.”

“I had an argument with someone once and he was deliberately not answering my calls so I drove over to his house. I knew he was home so I climbed over the fence and essentially broke in. I don’t think that’s a grand gesture of love, maybe it’s just trespassing.”

“A gold ring that my partner bought me that I always have with me.”

5. On love in the age of social media…
“Sometimes you just feel like that thirteen year old who wants to post photos of your partner everywhere surrounded by hand drawn hearts and stickers because you’re happy and in love. But other times you have to remember that your relationship deserves privacy and sadly you are an adult now and there’s a big difference between your school journal and a social network site where you have hundreds of thousands of strangers seeing everything you do.”

“Is getting into a warm bath on a chilly morning.”
7. On her biggest dream or goal in life…
“To have a big family and live in the canyons.”

“My first crush was on David Copperfield, the magician. I saw a bunch of his shows when I was really young and I knew it was love at first sight.”

“I went to pony camp every summer holidays when I was a child.”
